For the purpose of this statement, all reference to a user’s information would be any information collected whilst visiting our website at www.hawkshire.com and in our newsletter and enquiry forms on our website.

Hawks Crane Hire Ltd is a limited liability company involved in the lifting sector currently headquartered from our offices in Dartford. The company’s data controller (for the protection and fair access to a user’s data) is Jude Gibson, jude.gibson2000@gmail.com.
We currently collect data in two ways:
The first is through the enquiry button, whereby we record a user’s first and last name, phone, email, company and Web Enquiry details. These are stored on our salesforce account at (www.salesforce.com) using their security features for the protection of their emails. They are also stored on our Mailchimp account at www.mailchimp.com using their security features for the protection of the data.
We will use personal information supplied to us to manage our customer relationship using our customer relations management (CRM) system. Here we hold personal data to manage our relationships within the business.
We also have a monthly newsletter delivered through our Mailchimp account, which also holds all the information stored through the Enquiries and Newsletter buttons.
If a user leaves their personal data through either of the mediums of data collection on the website then they are consenting to the company using this data to communicate with them and within the CRM system. If a user no longer wants to be contacted by us then they can unsubscribe to using the Unsubscribe function in the footer of each mail they receive. If a user no longer wants to have data held on our CRM system they must contact the data controller (see above for contact details) for its removal.
Personal data is treated with complete confidentiality and we will not share your data with any third parties except Mailchimp and Salesforce. This information will be encrypted on their servers and can only be accessed with our account passwords. Our passwords are changed quarterly to prevent any unwanted or illegal access.
Data will be stored on the Mailchimp and Salesforce servers, which could be held outside the United Kingdom (UK), or European Union (EU). Even though the data could be held at servers outside the UK and the EU, EU law in regards to the safeguarding of data will be maintained across the globe. Salesforce and Mailchimp are contractually obliged to make sure data is protected in the correct way as per EU regulation.
All of the data submitted through the website is held on Salesforce and Mailchimp servers, both of which have encryption and security features to ensure the data cannot be stolen whilst held on the servers. As a company we comply with all data protection standards set by the EU.
We will keep data for up to 5 years, which is assumed to be the average time an employee stays with an employer. After this time the data will be deleted.
You can access your data at any time and edit and delete where you feel necessary. If you would like to access your data then please contact the data controller (see contact details above) who will reply to your request within 5 working days.
